As most of you, I am extremely excited to see the fairy tale come to life; the princess finally marrying her prince. Speculations over what she will wear, who will attend, has everyone excited. Personally, I cannot wait to see Kate's reaction when she walks down the isle to marry her prince!

Welcome to Detailish!

Hi there! I’m Melissa, creator of Detailish.com!

I’ve always been crafty and creative. But not until I had my darling daughter, Paris, did I begin tapping into my passion for design and parties. Her love and excitement for all things pink and frilly are infectious and are a true daily inspiration. After turning 31 and with a little encouragement from hubby and friends I decided to create this blog to share some of the excitement I feel when I come across a well designed celebration. 

With a detailish eye for combining color in my interior design projects, crafts and designs, I love coming up with detailish ways to decorate a party and of course creating printable designs for the do-it-yourself party host.  From small gatherings at home, to weddings I hope to bring a little inspiration for all of life celebrations! 

I live in sunny Naples FL with my husband and 3 beautiful children.   I love baking, reading interior design magazines, photography, designing, all things sweet and of course the beach.
